ABSOLUT Vodka presents: Jody VS The 4 Foot Vodka bottle.
Back in October, I had the pleasure of drawing on an over-sized bottle for ABSOLUT Vodka during the Index Festival here in Dallas! The bottle will be on display at various music festivals throughout the country, then ultimately end up in a museum with other ABSOLUT inspired art. Love it!
I used Montana acrylic paint markers for the very first time, and I couldn't be happier with the result. I definitely plan to experiment with them more on other surfaces. They really gave me a lovely matte, opaque result.
A HUGE hank you to ABSOLUT for supporting artists, and the fine folks at the Index Festival for having me!
I'm going to SCOPE Miami!
I am absolutely thrilled to announce that I was the first of two winners in the RED BULL Canvas Cooler competition, and will be representing Dallas at SCOPE Miami in December!! I cannot express how much this opportunity means to me, and how amazing the people from Term of Art and Red Bull were to work with. This whole experience has been an amazing whirlwind. I can't wait to share the next leg of this adventure. Thank you to everyone for flooding my Facebook and Twitter with words of encouragement and congratulations. It has meant so much!
