I'm loving these sneak peek shots from Nikki, the beauty and brains behind Cykochik. She's carrying the clutch I designed for her Artist Series 3 & 10th Anniversary.
The line makes it's debut on September 21st. More details soon.

Ah, Summer is in the air, which means I'm spending a lot more time indoors. This Texas heat is no joke! I've been drawing up a storm, and taking advantage of glorious air conditioning, and my new Audio Technica turntable. July will be a super busy whirlwind, so I'm trying to take advantage of some time off while I can. My next piece will be an interactive one on my Facebook fan page. I'll be posting more on that soon.
If you're in my neck of the woods, I have two shows next month:
I'm thrilled to announce that I've been busy working on designs for the Artist Series 3 and 10th Anniversary Cykochik Custom Handbags! I was one of six lucky artists chosen to submit designs for Cykochik's Fall Collection. Voting is now live through June 8th! Visit Cykochik's Facebook page to vote on your favorite of the three. The winning set will be available for customization and purchase in the Fall.

As if it wasn't already in complete fan-girl heaven to work so closely with members of one of my favorite bands (Halou!) their current project, Stripmall Architecture, has brought the concept of album art to a whole other level. Thankfully our paths somehow crossed, and I had the privilege to be the lucky artist behind their album Feathersongs for Factory Girls.
The Mystery Parade worked his design magic on every release and transformed this project into something much larger, and with incredible fluidity and depth across the board. Max released a hardcover book chronicling the evolution of the project, Apoxalyptic Wonderland.
This book is a comprehensive overview of all the designs created for San Francisco band Stripmall Architecture's second album, "Feathersongs For Factory Girls". Centered around Dallas-based artist Jody Pham's key illustration, The Mystery Parade has created an astonishing amount of designs for one independently released album and its related releases, including singles, a DVD, two Japanese compilations, a lyric book, a poster set, and more.
