About Jody Pham

Jody Pham is an illustrator based in Dallas, Texas. Drawing inspiration from the transformative allure of nature, the intricasies of human anatomy, and folklore, her monochromatic illustrations are filled with contradicting linear lines, tangled flora and curious eyes, and inky disarray that invite the viewer to take a closer look. Jody's distinctive compositions often reflect her bicultural identity, and the experience of navigating dual worlds.

Jody has collaborated on creative projects with Sakura of America, Absolut Vodka, Bucketfeet, and Cykochik hand bags. Her work has been exhibited extensively throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area, including Kettle Art, White Space Gallery, Janette Kennedy Gallery, and the Fort Worth Community Arts Center. As the winner of Red Bull's Canvas Cooler Project in Dallas, she also had the privilege of showing her work as part of the Red Bull Curates Exhibition at SCOPE Miami during Art Basel. Her first collaborative book, The Art of Fashion Tangling, was released by Walter Foster Publishing in Spring 2016. Jody is a proud member of the Women Who Draw directory of illustrators.

When she's not drawing, Jody loves working as a funeral director, traveling, and volunteering her time for creative-based community outreach in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
